Relief Operator - 3rd Shift

Essential Job Functions / Primary Responsibilities:

• Operate molding machine in a safe and efficient manner using designated tools.
• Follow all start up and shut down /OPPM procedures.
• Read, comprehend, and perform duties as outline in the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) or Product Specific Standard Operating Procedure (PSOP).
• Accurately record/communicate production data and react appropriately to out of control conditions. Always follow Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
• Always maintain acceptable housekeeping/5S standards to ensure a safe and productive work environment for all employees.
• Communicate any problems to the area team lead or supervisor.
• Communicate effectively with team lead, supervisor, finishing operators or others regarding part quality.
• Consistently meet or exceed productivity goals while maintaining excellent product quality.
• Perform secondary operations such as trimming or clipping parts as needed.
• May inspect and process, under magnification, parts per the SOP/PSOP to ensure quality and customer specifications.
• Continually suggest and support implementation of ideas to improve safety, quality, cost, and on-time delivery; work to help make Trelleborg Medical Solutions (TMS Delano) a better company and better place to work.
• Consult with Supervisor or Lead when verification is needed.
• Follow standard safety procedures and personal protective equipment requirements.
• Demonstrate regular and consistent attendance.
• Work overtime as required.
• Conducts inspections to ensure compliance with product specifications. Inspections include visual, dimensional, functional, and physical testing on product from all departments.
• Verifies packaging and documents for shipping parts.
• Performs accurate data entry.
• Collaborates and gathers documentation or data, tests product or materials for root cause analysis, investigations, and drives continuous improvement activities.
• Communicates orally in a professional, courteous manner. Written communications should be clear and concise.
• Uses Lean Enterprise methods to reduce waste and complexity in all processes and organizes work area.
• Assists with filing or scanning for QA Dept.
• Able to accurately scan processing records to computer files for archiving.

Pay:

•  $22.50 - $24.50 per hour plus $4.00 Shift Differential
