H2C leads the nation's largest and most complex radioactive waste cleanup, including closure of the legacy waste tanks at Hanford containing 56 million gallons of radioactive and chemical waste. H2C is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Relocation Analyst to join our organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting and coordinating employee relocation processes, analyzing relocation policies, and providing recommendations to optimize cost and efficiency. This position involves working closely with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless transitions for relocating employees. The specific duties of the Relocation Analyst will include but are not limited to the following: *Exercise independent judgement and discretion in coordinating and processing complex employee relocations, ensuring compliance with company policies, DOE contractual, and legal requirements. *Coordinate interviewee travel, reimbursement, and related documentation. *Provide guidance and support to employees throughout the relocation process, addressing any questions or concerns, and ensuring completion of the process within the first 12-months of hire. *Analyze relocation data and expenses to identify trends, cost-saving opportunities, and potential improvements by maintaining professional knowledge of applicable government regulations as they pertain to real estate transactions, movement/storage of household goods, and travel. *Implement controls and/or improvements to the relocation, professional licenses/certifications, and memberships processes as needed. *Prepare documentation and communications for paybacks of relocation reimbursements and ensure adherence to policy. *Collaborate with HR, Legal and Accounting departments to manage relocation budgets and vendor relationships and mitigate/resolve complex or sensitive issues. *Prepare detailed and auditable documentation supporting bi-weekly H2C invoices to DOE. *Support internal and external audit requests by preparing required data, responding to inquiries, and implementing corrective actions. *Manage and approve employee requests for professional licenses/certifications and memberships in accordance with contract terms and conditions. *Prepare journal vouchers, monthly reconciliations, and financial reports/metrics related to relocations, professional memberships, and certifications. *Perform other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications Grade 13: Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Accounting, Finance, or a related field or equivalent combination of education and/or experience. Grade 14: Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Accounting, Finance, or a related field and one (1) year of related experience or equivalent combination of education and/or experience. Note the essential duties for this grade level are like that of the previous grade level, however the scope of responsibility is larger, and the expected level of performance is increased. Desired Qualifications *Experience with large financial systems *Knowledge of GAAP, CAS, and standard accounting procedures/tasks *Knowledge of the Federal Travel Regulation (FTR) *Familiarity with H2C's relocation procedure *Proficient in Excel *Outstanding oral and written communication skills Compensation & Benefits In accordance with the company's philosophy on compensation for exempt and salaried non-exempt employees, H2C takes into consideration a variety of factors when determining initial grade and salary to include assigned job scope and responsibility, a candidate's qualifications as compared to internal comparators performing in a similar role, and the external labor market. A salary offer will be made at the appropriate grade level and within the targeted hiring range posted according to these factors. Note a candidate's prior salary history will not be taken into consideration.
