Remote After Training- Customer service Representative

Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Summary:

• Start Date: 9/28/2026
• Location: Cary , NC
• Work Mode: Virtual roles predominantly work from a home office with periodic visits to the assigned GCSO office as needed

Responsibilities:

• Handle inbound customer service inquiries via telephone and/or email
• Resolve complex customer issues with effective listening skills and attention to detail
• Provide excellent service to customers with insurance or other financial service products
• Research requests regarding various product aspects, policy provisions, claim status, and basic procedures
• Efficiently process transactions and refer requests for policy modifications to appropriate areas
• Enhance and strengthen the relationship between the customer and the company using strong communication skills
• Support special product and/or service campaigns as needed
• Access and navigate multiple electronic systems to provide a complete and integrated response to customer inquiries
• Perform responsibilities in a professional manner while exercising strong verbal, interpersonal, and high-quality service skills

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of customer service experience
• Flexible to work specific shifts during hours of operation between 8:00am – 8:00pm EST, Monday through Friday
• Ability to work overtime and flexible shifts based on business needs
• High School diploma or GED

Preferred Skills:

• Some college experience, trade, or professional certification
• Insurance or financial services industry experience or product-specific experience
• Prior call center experience is highly preferred
• Ability to learn quickly and continuously develop functional knowledge of company products
• Strong computer/keyboard skills and solid math, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Superb listening skills and professional oral & written communication skills
• Ability to inspire trust and accountability through an empathetic communication style
