Description
The Traveling Project Manager will be responsible for:
- Managing renovation projects from pre‑construction through close‑out, with a focus on quality, schedule, and cost control
- Leading contract management activities including scope writing, schedule of values, change management, and contract administration
- Overseeing RFIs, submittals, and Procore documentation to ensure accurate and timely communication
- Facilitating and leading OAC meetings, coordinating with owners, consultants, and subcontractors
- Traveling to project sites as required, with an initial on‑site presence that tapers as projects stabilize
Profile
A successful Traveling Project Manager should have:
- 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager or experienced Assistant Project Manager on renovation projects
- Proven experience managing renovation work (multifamily or affordable housing experience not required)
- Strong background in contract management, including SOVs, RFIs, submittals, and change orders
- Proficiency with Procore construction management software
- Willingness to travel regularly to project sites and occasionally to Maryland for meetings
