The Opportunity

A newly formed independent agency in west-central Nebraska is hiring its first producer. It's being launched by a principal with 30+ years in the business, with appointments across a wide range of national and regional carriers and a service professional already in place.

What You'll Do

• Generate new personal and commercial lines business through prospecting, networking, and referrals
• Build relationships with business owners, referral sources, and community partners
• Evaluate coverage needs, quote across the agency's carrier lineup, and present competitive proposals
• Run a disciplined follow-up process and keep prospects moving toward close
• Grow and protect a profitable book of business
• Hand new accounts cleanly to the service professional and keep the client experience seamless

What We're Looking For

Required:

• Strong phone presence and clear, confident communication
• Driven to keep outreach going day after day without being told
• Some office insurance experience
• Must hold active Property & Casualty and Life/Health licenses; unlicensed applications cannot be considered
• Must be able to keep Nebraska (Central Time) working hours
• Fast, reliable internet and a distraction-free home office setup
• A positive teammate who takes coaching well

Helpful, but not required:

• Independent agency background
• Commercial lines experience

If you've only sold personal lines, or you've only worked captive, apply anyway. The principal is looking for someone who can sell and build relationships. The rest is teachable, and the carrier lineup and commercial training will be there.

Where You'll Work

Home base is North Platte. There's flexibility in where you produce from, but expect to build relationships and do business throughout west-central Nebraska. Strong candidates from Kearney, Grand Island, and the surrounding region are encouraged to apply.
