Remote, Contract-based Florida Labor and Employment Attorney Opportunity - $90 per hour

Our client has an opportunity for a qualified and experienced Florida Labor and Employment Attorney to provide project-based legal research, writing, and drafting support.

Work will primarily consist of discrete research and drafting projects, with both Florida state and federal court matters.

Attorney Responsibilities: 

• Draft complaints and general pleadings
  
• Draft responses to motions to dismiss
  
• Draft responses to motions for summary judgment
  
• Draft affirmative motions for summary judgment
  
• Conduct legal research on labor and employment matters
  
• Handle ADA and disability discrimination-related drafting
  
• Provide federal and state court litigation drafting support
  
• Complete discrete projects independently and efficiently
  

Attorney Requirements: 

• Licensed and in good standing to practice Law in the State of Florida
  
• 5+ years of labor and employment law experience
  
• Experience with ADA and disability discrimination matters
  
• Strong legal research and writing skills
  
• Strong federal court drafting experience
  
• Experience drafting substantive motions, pleadings, and briefs
  
• Able to independently manage projects and meet deadlines
  
• Responsive, dependable, and highly organized
  

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Plaintiff-side employment law experience
  
• Familiarity with recent Eleventh Circuit employment law decisions
  
• Experience with gender and age discrimination claims
  
• Experience practicing in the Northern District of Florida
  
• Writing quality is particularly important for this engagement
  

Our Attorney pay rate starts at $90/hour.
