Position Type: 6 month contract with additional opportunity contingent upon performance and continued business need
Job Location: Remote
Shift: Core hours are 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with flexibility to work an additional 1–2 hours Monday through Thursday in order to take Friday afternoons off.

OverviewThe ideal candidate will bring strong technical, business, and financial acumen, along with a high level of attention to detail and a strong understanding of contract compliance. This position requires strict adherence to contract terms and conditions, regulatory requirements, and applicable laws while maintaining strong internal and external business partnerships.
The Contract Operations Sr. Specialist will support customers and third-party agents with the implementation, administration, and performance reporting of customer agreements managed by Market Access and Account Management. These agreements may include discounts, rebates, and other payments based on the purchase and utilization of products.
This role will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of calculated discounts and payments, as well as compliance with contract terms and conditions, including applicable Government Pricing Programs.
Responsibilities- Collaborate with internal and external teams to research membership and eligibility inquiries and drive issues toward compliant resolution.
- Conduct formal contract reviews to identify potential risks and assess the feasibility of operationalizing contract language within an evolving healthcare environment.
- Interpret contracting language and identify potential misalignments with current systems, processes, and capabilities.
- Oversee and guide contract administration activities performed by third-party vendors, proactively monitoring for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
- Support contract administration and rebate payment processing for a diverse range of customers, including data validation and assessment of customer compliance with contractual requirements.
- Develop and maintain compliant processes to support effective data management and contract operations.
- Support external company reporting through critical control activities, data analysis, and related reviews.
- Contribute to the broader US Market Access and Account Management team project portfolio, including the development and implementation of best practices and training initiatives.
- Maintain high standards of quality, accuracy, and compliance across all technical and operational activities.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Legal Studies, Healthcare Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Extensive relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- 3–5 years of experience in pharmaceutical contracting, specifically utilization-based contract compliance and administration.
- Experience with Managed Care contracting.
- Experience with US pricing and reimbursement.
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical Market Access contracting, including contract terms and conditions and the impact of contract language on business outcomes.
- Working knowledge of pharmaceutical contract operations systems and end-to-end contract administration processes.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and directly.
- Exceptional attention to detail and consistency.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders at all levels.
Preferred Qualifications- Broad understanding of the US healthcare and pharmaceutical product contracting environment.
- Knowledge of purchase-based contract compliance and administration.
- Experience with Government Pricing Programs is a plus.
