The Position
Shermco Systems Integration is seeking a Controls Engineer, which will be responsible for design, development, and implementation of control systems for various applications, ensuring efficient and safe operation by using automation, programming, critical-thinking and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent experience preferred.
Minimum of 4 years' experience in control systems and startup/commissioning.
Must have a strong understanding of control theory, automation, and programming, with the ability to identify, analyze, and solve complex technical problems while paying close attention to detail, ensuring accuracy.
Must have experience with low voltage controls.
Must be able to clearly and effectively communicate in English via verbal and written methods and be comfortable and effective doing so directly to customers and co-workers.
Ability to work safely, and an eagerness to contribute to a safety-focused team.
Strong mathematical and analytical skills, Proficiency in using computer-aided design (CAD) software and other relevant tools, and Experience with pipeline and/or oil and gas processing is considered a plus.

Semiconductor, Oil and Gas, Utilities, Agriculture, Metals, Mining, Paper, Data Centers, Health Care , Food and Beverage
Must be flexible and willing to work out-of-town with regular overnight travel

Pay Range
USD $100,000.00 - USD $125,000.00 /Yr.
