Job Summary

The Williston Northampton School is seeking a dedicated and service-oriented Remote Customer Service Representative to provide exceptional support to prospective families, current students, parents, alumni, and community members. This position serves as a key point of contact for inquiries, helping deliver an outstanding customer experience while supporting the school's commitment to academic excellence and community engagement. The ideal candidate is professional, organized, and passionate about providing timely and accurate assistance in a remote work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to inquiries via phone, email, and live chat in a professional, courteous, and timely manner.
  • Assist prospective families, students, parents, alumni, and visitors by providing accurate information about school programs, admissions, events, and services.
  • Resolve customer concerns and escalate complex issues to the appropriate department when necessary.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions using CRM and student information systems.
  • Process requests, update account information, and ensure documentation is complete and accurate.
  • Coordinate with Admissions, Finance, Student Services, and Administrative departments to ensure efficient communication.
  • Provide technical guidance for online forms, portals, and virtual school resources.
  • Follow up with customers to ensure inquiries and concerns have been fully resolved.
  • Maintain confidentiality of student and institutional information in accordance with school policies and applicable privacy regulations.
  • Meet established productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction standards.
  • Perform additional administrative and customer support duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year of customer service, administrative support, or call center experience preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, CRM systems, and virtual communication platforms.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently in a remote environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
  • Reliable high-speed internet connection and a dedicated home office workspace.
