Job Description

Join a dynamic team dedicated to conducting events, situations, and public road tests. The team operates 24/7, executing planned activities within vehicles and providing critical context for real-time situations. As an Embedded Software Engineer, you will have the opportunity to engage with live data, troubleshoot, and enhance vehicle operation systems.

Responsibilities

• Execute missions and scheduled activities within vehicles, providing context for real-time situations.
• Support schedule management for vehicles, including operations throughout the day and late evenings.
• Triages issues that arise in robotic mode and manage start-up and deployment of software each day.
• Debug and triage issues, ensuring logs are retrieved and processed efficiently.
• Write and manage Jira tickets to resolve issues with detailed context and analysis.

Essential Skills

• 3-5 years of industry experience in testing, system triage, defect tracking, and impact analysis.
• Proficiency in ADAS technologies including Camera, Lidar, Radar, and Ultrasonic sensors.
• Experience with Jira for defect tracking and issue resolution.
• Strong critical thinking skills and a "detective mindset" for forensic analysis.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Knowledge of ROS logs and analysis.
• Experience with lane assist, drive assist testing, and self-driving technology.
• Familiarity with creating detailed Jira tickets with screenshots and analysis using tools like Fox Glove.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Houston, Texas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $65.00/hr.
