Job Summary and Qualifications

In alignment with the strategic vision established by the AVP of Remote Imaging Services, the Clinical Manager – Remote Imaging Services is responsible for the operational, clinical, and personnel leadership of the centralized Remote Imaging Services team within the Patient Logistics Center (PLC). This position provides direct leadership and oversight of Remote Imaging staff, ensuring the delivery of safe, efficient, high-quality remote imaging services across supported hospitals, freestanding emergency rooms, and future enterprise imaging locations.

The Clinical Manager is responsible for day-to-day operations, staffing, employee development, quality performance, operational metrics, customer satisfaction, regulatory compliance, and process standardization within Remote Imaging Services. This role partners with division leaders, operational stakeholders, and corporate leadership to drive clinical excellence, service consistency, workforce engagement, and operational performance.

The Clinical Manager serves as a key operational leader supporting remote imaging initiatives and is responsible for operational execution while fostering a culture of safety, accountability, innovation, customer service, and continuous improvement.

What you will do in this role:

  • Provides leadership, management, and oversight of daily Remote Imaging Services operations.
  • Directly supervises CT Technologists – Remote Imaging and Lead CT Technologists – Remote Imaging.
  • Ensures safe, efficient, and standardized imaging operations across all supported facilities.
  • Oversees staffing plans and scheduling to ensure appropriate coverage of remote imaging operations.
  • Collaborates with the AVP of Remote Imaging Services to implement strategic initiatives, new programs, and operational enhancements.
  • Maintains accountability for departmental performance metrics and develops action plans to improve outcomes.
  • Participates in disaster response planning, downtime procedures, and business continuity activities.
  • Ensures imaging procedures are performed according to established protocols, regulatory requirements, and organizational standards.
  • Promotes patient safety and quality throughout all remote imaging operations.
  • Supports protocol standardization and clinical best practices across facilities.
  • Oversees compliance with imaging-related regulatory and accreditation requirements.
  • Recruits, interviews, hires, develops, and retains highly qualified Remote Imaging staff.
  • Conducts employee onboarding, orientation, performance evaluations, coaching, and corrective action as appropriate.
  • Provides ongoing leadership, mentorship, and professional development opportunities.
  • Promotes employee engagement, accountability, and teamwork.
  • Ensures staff maintain required competencies, licensure, certifications, and continuing education requirements.
  • Oversees auditing of imaging workflows, documentation, protocol compliance, and service performance.

What requirements you will need:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Administration, Radiologic Sciences, Business Administration, Nursing, or related healthcare field.
  • Master’s Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Leadership, or related field preferred.
  • Current Clinical license required
  • Advanced leadership or management training preferred.

  • Minimum three (3) years of leadership experience with direct responsibility for staff management, operations, quality, and performance outcomes.
  • Experience managing imaging operations, remote healthcare operations, centralized services, or multi-site healthcare environments.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare operations, clinical workflow management, and imaging services.
  • Demonstrated leadership and personnel management skills.
  • Knowledge of CT imaging operations and remote imaging workflows.
  • Knowledge of regulatory, accreditation, privacy, and patient safety standards affecting imaging operations.
  • Knowledge of quality improvement methodologies and performance management practices.
  • Strong financial, productivity, and operational management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, coaching, mentoring, and communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze operational data and implement effective solutions.
  • Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, relevant databases and reporting tools.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and competing demands.
