Position Overview
This role is responsible for designing and developing engaging, interactive, and performance-based learning solutions that support sales, technical training, and product launches across a global audience.
The ideal candidate will have strong instructional design expertise, excellent writing and communication skills, and the ability to translate complex technical information into effective learning experiences using a variety of delivery methods.
Responsibilities
Learning Design & Development (30%)
  • Design and develop online learning programs and digital training assets aligned with global training strategies, regional needs, and product launch initiatives.
  • Create highly interactive and task-based learning experiences using eLearning, virtual instructor-led training (VILT), job aids, animated videos, and other blended learning approaches.
Classroom Training Development (30%)
  • Design and develop instructor-led training workshops and supporting materials, including facilitator guides, participant guides, presentations, checklists, and evaluations.
Content Development & Collaboration (10%)
  • Partner with subject matter experts (SMEs) and stakeholders to transform technical content and institutional knowledge into performance-focused training solutions.
  • Develop learning objectives aligned with strategic priorities and critical job skills.
  • Conduct learning needs assessments, analyze data, and recommend effective learning strategies.
  • Create scripts, storyboards, design documents, and assessments that align with course objectives.
Digital Asset Creation (10%)
  • Develop training-related digital assets, including presentations, graphics, illustrations, and other visual learning materials.
Content Maintenance (10%)
  • Update existing training programs to reflect product enhancements, software updates, process improvements, and organizational changes.
Quality Assurance & Testing (5%)
  • Test and validate training content prior to deployment within the Learning Management System (LMS) and other delivery platforms.
Stakeholder Engagement (5%)
  • Present training solutions to stakeholders and SMEs, gather feedback, and implement revisions as needed.

Qualifications
Required
  • Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Distance Learning, Adult Education, Educational Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of professional instructional design experience.
  • Experience designing and developing complex learning programs across multiple delivery methods, including:
    • Virtual instructor-led training (VILT)
    • eLearning
    • Social and mobile learning
    • Microlearning
    • Video-based learning
  • Strong knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies, and needs analysis processes.
  • Experience writing learning objectives, recommending instructional strategies, developing blended learning solutions, and measuring learning effectiveness.
  • Proficiency with eLearning development tools, including:
    • Articulate 360 (Storyline and Rise)
    • Camtasia
    • Vyond
    • Adobe Captivate
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, including:
    • InDesign
    • Photoshop
    • Illustrator
  • Strong writing skills, including instructional content, scripts, and multimedia narration.
  • Experience with video and audio editing tools, voice-over recording, and AI-powered voice generation tools.
  • Strong visual design and storytelling capabilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proven project management skills, including managing projects from analysis through evaluation.
  • Ability to accept and implement feedback effectively.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
Preferred
  • Master's degree in Instructional Design, Adult Learning, Educational Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience developing technical or medical training content.
  • Experience creating infographics and advanced visual learning materials.

Portfolio Required: Applicants must submit a portfolio of relevant instructional design work. Candidates without a portfolio will not be considered.
