Remote Litigation Paralegal

Location: Must Reside in CA
Full-Time Position

We're assisting our client with finding an experienced Litigation Paralegal to support attorneys in Mass Tort, Sexual Assault, Catastrophic and Personal Injury matters. This role requires a self-starter who can work independently and manage multiple litigation deadlines in both California State and Federal Courts. This role is 100% REMOTE. Candidates MUST reside in CA and have 5+ years CA litigation experience.

Responsibilities

• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and other legal documents using templates.
• Prepare, file, and serve court documents.
• Manage court dockets, deadlines, and case calendars.
• Coordinate with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and court reporters.
• Conduct legal research using LexisNexis and Westlaw.
• Assist with discovery, depositions, hearings, and trial preparation.
• Maintain and organize case files and exhibits.

Qualifications

• Paralegal Certificate required.
• 5+ years of civil litigation experience.
• Strong knowledge of California court procedures and filings.
• Experience with State and Federal Court e-filing.
• Understanding of pleadings, discovery, motions, and service of process.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, PDF management tools, and legal research platforms.
• Filevine experience is a plus.
