The EarthDaily Constellation will combine with the EarthPipeline data processing system to provide scientific-grade data daily, supporting diverse industries.Your Team Our global, enterprise-wide team represents a variety of business lines and includes sales, marketing and support professionals, data scientists, software engineers, project managers, and finance, HR, and IT professionals.Role Overview Reporting to the VP, Marketing Communications, the Marketing Events Manager is accountable for planning, executing, and measuring EarthDaily\u2019s global events program, including trade shows, industry conferences, corporate-sponsored events, customer summits, webinars, and virtual experiences. This role elevates EarthDaily\u2019s brand presence, aligns events to core value propositions and messaging, and drives brand awareness and measurable sales activity. It also involves managing strategic partnerships, awards, and industry memberships to extend EarthDaily\u2019s market presence and credibility.Key Responsibilities Event Strategy & Planning Develop and manage EarthDaily\u2019s annual events calendar, aligning event investments with pipeline goals, brand messaging, core value propositions, and go-to-market prioritiesEnsure all events support brand awareness, recognition, and sales activity outcomesDefine event objectives, target audiences, KPIs, and budget requirements for each event and present plans to marketing leadership for approvalResearch and evaluate new event opportunities to identify those with the highest strategic value across verticals (agriculture, insurance, mining, government, and risk)Partner with Sales and Line of Business leaders to ensure events are integrated into broader campaign strategies and regional go-to-market plansEvent Execution & Logistics Own end-to-end logistics for all events, including venue sourcing, vendor management, booth design and production, AV coordination, catering, staffing, travel, and on-site managementManage relationships with external event organizers, exhibit houses, and production vendors to ensure quality delivery within budget and timelinesDevelop and maintain detailed event project plans, run-of-show documents, and post-event checklistsOversee the design and production of event materials including booth displays, signage, collateral, and swagCoordinate speaker submissions, sponsorship deliverables, and content requirements for third-party conferences and trade showsDemand Generation & Pipeline Support Partner with Sales and Line of Business teams to design pre-event, at-event, and post-event engagement programsManage event registration and attendee communications, including invitation campaigns, confirmation workflows, and follow-up sequences in HubSpotEnsure leads are properly tagged, routed, and handed off with necessary context for timely follow-upTrack event-attributed pipeline and revenue contributions and report results to marketing and sales leadershipHosted Events & Customer Experiences Plan and execute EarthDaily-hosted events including customer roundtables, executive briefings, partner summits, and regional field eventsDesign attendee experiences that reflect EarthDaily\u2019s brand positioning and strengthen relationships with key accounts and partnersManage webinar and virtual event production, including platform setup, speaker preparation, live facilitation, and post-event content distributionPartnerships, Awards & Memberships Manage EarthDaily\u2019s portfolio of strategic event partnerships, sponsorships, and industry membershipsIdentify and pursue relevant awards opportunities to enhance credibility and thought leadershipEnsure alignment between partnerships, memberships, and EarthDaily\u2019s brand and messagingBudget & Performance Management Own the events budget, track expenditures, and ensure cost-effective use of resourcesConduct post-event performance reviews, measuring against defined KPIs (attendance, lead volume, pipeline influence, engagement, brand impact, ROI)Maintain an events performance dashboard and provide regular reporting and optimization recommendationsOther duties as assignedYour Qualifications Bachelor\u2019s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field305 years of progressive experience in B2B event management or marketing, preferably in a technology, SaaS, or data/analytics companyExperience managing the full event lifecycle from strategy through execution and measurement for both physical and virtual eventsExperience managing trade show programs and third-party conference sponsorships, including booth production and logisticsAbility to manage multiple concurrent events and deadlines in a fast-paced environmentExperience with marketing automation platforms (HubSpot preferred) for lead capture and follow-up workflowsExperience with virtual event platforms (e.g., ON24, Hopin, Zoom Webinars)assetExperience in geospatial, Earth Observation, or related deep-tech marketsassetYour Toolkit Strong project management skills with attention to detail and ability to manage complex, multi-workstream projectsProficiency with event management and marketing tools including HubSpot, Salesforce (or equivalent CRM), and event registration platformsUnderstanding of B2B demand generation and the role of events in the marketing funnelVendor negotiation and relationship management skills within budget constraintsStrong written and verbal communication skills and ability to write compelling event copyData-driven mindset with the ability to define KPIs and translate insights into actionsAbility to collaborate across Marketing, Sales, and Product teamsComfort with ambiguity and ability to work independently in a dynamic, high-growth environmentWillingness to travel domestically and internationally (estimated 610 times per year)Compensation Base Salary Range: $90,000-$120,000 CAD annuallyThe range is based on Vancouver-derived compensation for this role.
