We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal to support attorneys throughout all phases of personal injury litigation. The ideal candidate will have experience managing plaintiff personal injury cases, coordinating discovery, preparing legal documents, maintaining case files, and communicating with clients, medical providers, insurance companies, and opposing counsel.

Position Details:
- Salary: $80,000-$90,000

Key Responsibilities
- Manage a high-volume caseload from intake through settlement, trial, or appeal.
- Maintain and organize electronic and physical case files.
- Track litigation deadlines, court dates, discovery deadlines, and statute of limitations.
- Review and analyze medical records, bills, and other case-related documents.
- Communicate regularly with clients regarding case status and requests for information.
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, subpoenas, correspondence, and settlement documents.
- Assist attorneys with trial preparation, including exhibit preparation, witness coordination, and creation of trial binders.
- Schedule depositions, mediations, hearings, and expert witness consultations.
- File legal documents with state and federal courts, including electronic filings.
- Coordinate service of process and subpoena compliance.
- Prepare and respond to interrogatories, requests for production, and requests for admission.
- Obtain and summarize medical records, employment records, and other relevant evidence.
- Conduct factual investigations and gather supporting documentation.
- Prepare medical expense and damages summaries.
- Assist with expert witness retention and coordination.
Requirements
- Associate degree, Paralegal Certificate, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of personal injury litigation paralegal experience.
- Strong knowledge of civil litigation procedures and court rules.
- Experience with e-filing in state and federal courts.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, legal case management systems, and document management software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred
- Trial preparation experience.
- Experience with plaintiff-side personal injury litigation.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, records review, and lien resolution.
- Familiarity with case management software such as Needles, SmartAdvocate, Filevine, Clio, or Litify.
