    Description

We are sharing a specialised full-time consulting opportunity for licensed US pharmacists with strong expertise in medication management, clinical decision-making, prior authorisation workflows, and evidence-based medication review.

This role supports the development of advanced clinical AI systems designed to improve prior authorisation processes. Selected pharmacists will answer medication-related clinical questions, evaluate AI-generated responses for accuracy and safety, correct incomplete analyses, and provide structured feedback across medication access and clinical documentation workflows.

    Key Responsibilities

    Medication & Clinical Question Review

    • Answer medication-related clinical questions using patient context, source materials, and project guidelines
    • Review medication indications, dosing recommendations, contraindications, and drug interactions
    • Assess treatment history and supporting clinical documentation
    • Apply evidence-based prescribing guidance and professional pharmacy judgment

    AI Response Evaluation

    • Review AI-generated responses for clinical accuracy, safety, clarity, completeness, and evidential support
    • Identify incorrect recommendations, unsupported conclusions, and missing clinical considerations
    • Correct inaccurate or incomplete responses
    • Provide clear written explanations supporting each evaluation decision

    Prior Authorisation Assessment

    • Review cases involving prior authorisation criteria and medication-access requirements
    • Assess whether clinical documentation supports the requested medication or treatment
    • Identify missing information, conflicting evidence, or unclear patient context
    • Escalate cases involving potential patient-safety concerns or insufficient clinical support

    Annotation & Quality Assurance

    • Apply structured annotation guidelines, rubrics, and quality standards consistently
    • Participate in calibration and feedback sessions
    • Incorporate reviewer feedback promptly into future work
    • Maintain reliable accuracy and timely delivery across high-volume clinical review workflows

    Ideal Profile

    Strong candidates may have:

    • An active US pharmacist licence
    • A PharmD or equivalent professional pharmacy qualification
    • Strong experience with medications, pharmacy workflows, and clinical decision-making
    • Excellent knowledge of drug interactions, contraindications, dosing, and prescribing guidelines
    • Ability to interpret clinical documentation and medication histories
    • Strong written communication and meticulous attention to detail
    • Comfort following structured annotation and review guidelines
    • Availability to contribute approximately 30–40 hours per week

    Educational Background

    • A PharmD or equivalent pharmacy degree is required
    • Active pharmacist licensure in the United States is required
    • Residency training or advanced clinical pharmacy education may strengthen an application
    • Additional training in managed care, speciality pharmacy, medication access, or clinical informatics may be valuable

    Nice to Have

    • Experience with prior authorisation or speciality pharmacy workflows
    • Background in managed care or medication access
    • Familiarity with Epic, Cerner, or comparable electronic health record systems
    • Experience in clinical quality assurance or medication review
    • Previous exposure to AI evaluation, clinical content review, or healthcare data annotation
    • Knowledge of 340B programmes or medication assistance programmes
    • Experience identifying and escalating safety-critical or ambiguous clinical cases

    Why This Opportunity

    • Apply pharmacy expertise to the development of safer clinical AI systems
    • Help improve medication-related prior authorisation workflows
    • Review clinically meaningful questions involving dosing, safety, and treatment criteria
    • Contribute to more accurate and reliable clinical decision-support tools
    • Participate in flexible remote work with competitive hourly compensation

    Contract Details

    • Independent contractor role
    • Fully remote within the United States
    • Expected commitment of approximately 30–40 hours per week
    • Compensation of up to $65 per hour depending on experience and project scope
    • Weekly payments via Stripe or Wise
    • Work may include clinical question answering, AI response review, annotation, quality calibration, and prior authorisation assessment
    • Projects may be extended, shortened, or adjusted depending on scope and performance
    • Work will not involve access to confidential or proprietary information from any employer, client, or institution
