Job Title: Pharmacist
Job Description
The primary role of the pharmacist is to conduct final prior authorization reviews. The pharmacist ensures compliance with state and federal drug laws as regulated by the state board of pharmacy, the Drug Enforcement Administration, and the Food and Drug Administration. This involves monitoring nursing unit inspections, maintaining records for controlled substances, removing outdated and damaged drugs from the pharmacy inventory, supervising the work of support personnel, maintaining current registration, studying existing and new legislation, anticipating legislative changes, and advising management on necessary actions.

Work Environment
This is a 100% remote position requiring a dedicated work space at home. The schedule is Monday through Friday, from 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM EST, with some rotating weekends and holidays.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Indianapolis, IN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $70.00/hr.
