Senior Accountant- REMOTE!The Senior Accountant will report to and work closely with the Controller and will have high visibility to the Senior Executive team. We are looking for someone who is willing to learn and grow within the Accounting Organization. This role will be responsible for day to day, monthly, and quarterly monitoring of financial activities .Essential Duties and Responsibilities :Bookkeeping within Quickbooks Online including but not limited to transaction matching, bank and credit card reconciliations, ensuring transactions related to certain e-commerce stores are classed to that store, and other ad hoc reporting and analysis as neededEnsure that all transactions are coded correctly and sync'd to QuickbooksManagement of both Accounts Receivable and Accounts PayableRun bi-weekly payroll along with reconciling all payroll expenses and liabilities on a monthly basis;Reconciling online sales data with the ability to report on gross revenue along with analysis of related sales channel fees and the respective reporting within Quickbooks OnlineCompile monthly Royalty Reporting and calculations for revenue reporting and Quickbooks reporting to identify respective cost of goods sold deductionsWork directly with Sales to gather and report on monthly sales taxAssist management with monthly j ournal entries for revenue reconciliations, shopify/paypal fees, prepaid expenses, gift card liabilities, and any others that may arise in the course of businessIdentifies and Implements areas of opportunity to modify or enhance existing processes and procedures along with documenting current processesWork with warehouse to review inventory purchases and the related accounting around Inventory and COGSAssisting in the preparation of f inancial statements in compliance with GAAPQualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field is requiredSolid understanding and knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)Experience with ERP integrationsIntermediate to advanced knowledge of Quickbooks OnlineExperience with Royalty Reporting is a plusKnowledge of concepts, practices and procedures as relates to general ledger accountingPlease email updated resume and salary requirements to kathy@stafffinancial.comClick here to apply online#J-18808-Ljbffr
