GENERAL STATEMENT OF RESPONSIBILITY: Analyze medical and financial information to determine an underwriting classification.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Evaluate documents such as applications, medical records, inspection reports, financial reports and other data to determine degree of insurance risk.
Communicate with clients, applicants, agents, and underwriters to obtain additional information, explain company procedures or service existing accounts.
Process underwriting cases in computer image environment.
Assist sales and support staff in resolving problems and questions.
Maintain and protect the confidentiality of all CRL, CRL subsidiaries, legal entities and client information.
Be able to comply with all applicable federal, state, and local safety and health regulations that would apply to this job
Other duties as assigned.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree or equivalent underwriting experience.
EXPERIENCE: 5 years underwriting experience
