We are sharing a full-time opportunity for an experienced Talent Operations Manager with strong expertise in large-scale onboarding, stakeholder coordination, cross-functional execution, contributor operations, and data-driven programme management to support high-velocity AI training and human-data deployments.
The role sits at the intersection of contributors, internal teams, and enterprise clients, with responsibility for keeping large-scale onboarding and talent operations organised, responsive, and aligned with changing project needs. This is a hands-on operations role centred on coordination and execution rather than traditional direct-report people management.
Key Responsibilities
Large-Scale Onboarding & Activation
- Run high-volume contributor onboarding and activation workflows
- Coordinate onboarding across multiple concurrent projects
- Ensure contributors receive clear instructions, timelines, and next steps
- Identify friction within activation processes and resolve blockers quickly
- Maintain a strong contributor experience while operating at scale
Talent Coordination & Deployment
- Coordinate distributed talent pools across AI training and data-operations programmes
- Match contributor availability and capabilities to evolving project requirements
- Track activation, participation, and operational readiness
- Maintain visibility across large groups of contributors
- Ensure appropriate talent is activated at the right time for project needs
Client & Stakeholder Management
- Work closely with enterprise clients and internal stakeholders
- Maintain alignment across project requirements, timelines, and operational priorities
- Communicate progress, risks, and dependencies clearly
- Anticipate stakeholder needs and resolve issues before they disrupt delivery
- Support strong execution across client-facing deployments
Project Operations & Performance Tracking
- Track milestones, risks, outcomes, and operational performance
- Produce clear weekly updates for stakeholders
- Monitor project health using dashboards, metrics, and KPIs
- Identify emerging issues through operational data
- Drive follow-through on actions and unresolved dependencies
Contributor Engagement & Community Operations
- Run community syncs and contributor-engagement initiatives
- Keep contributors informed about project changes and priorities
- Improve communication across distributed contributor groups
- Support retention and participation through clear operational processes
- Gather feedback and identify recurring contributor-experience issues
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Process Improvement
- Partner with product, engineering, operations, and other teams
- Adapt workflows as model and client requirements evolve
- Use data to improve onboarding, quality, and contributor retention
- Identify process gaps and implement practical improvements
- Support scalable operating systems for high-velocity deployments
Ideal Profile
- Strong written communication skills with a clear, structured, and direct style
- Highly organised and comfortable coordinating many concurrent workstreams
- Strong ownership and follow-through
- Ability to identify operational gaps and resolve them proactively
- Comfortable working with dashboards, KPIs, and operational data

- Comfortable operating in fast-moving, distributed environments
- Experience in human data, AI training, data operations, talent operations, or technical-client environments is advantageous but not required
Engagement Details
- Full-time engagement
- Fully remote
- Base compensation: $70,000–$110,000/year
- The role is focused on operations, coordination, and execution rather than traditional people management
- Work will involve large-scale onboarding, contributor coordination, client alignment, operational reporting, and process improvement
- Strong communication, organisation, and stakeholder-management skills are central to this role
- Responsibilities may span multiple AI training and human-data programmes simultaneously
- Operational priorities and contributor requirements may evolve as client and model needs change
