Remote Testing Technician

Position Summary

T&E Flow Services is seeking a detail-oriented and safety-conscious Remote Testing Technician to join our Dielectric Testing Team. This role is crucial to ensure the safety and reliability of electrical protective equipment used through rigorous testing, inspection, and quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform dielectric testing on Bucket Trucks, Digger Derricks, Fiberglass Sticks, Insulated Blankets, Line Hoses, and other electrical protective equipment in accordance with industry standards, including ASTM and OSHA.
• Inspect, clean and prepare equipment for testing and certification.
• Accurately document test results, maintain detailed records, and generate compliance reports.
• Calibrate, troubleshoot, and maintain testing equipment to ensure accurate and reliable measurements.
• Follow established safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
• Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure timely processing of customer orders.
• Assist with inventory control, equipment tracking, and general operational support.

Qualifications

       Required

• Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical instructions and procedures.
• Basic computer skills, including data entry and report generation.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Physical ability to handle and maneuver rubber goods, testing equipment, and related apparatus.

       Preferred

• Previous experience in electrical testing, industrial safety, utility services, or a related field is a plus.
• Familiarity with dielectric testing equipment and testing procedures (training provided).
