VIVÂMEE Hospitality is seeking an Assistant General Manager. The AssistantGeneral Manager of Renault Winery & Resort is a key propertyleader responsible for supporting the Resort General Manager in the dailyleadership, execution, and performance of the resort. This role requires ahighly visible, hands-on hospitality professional with significant operationalstrength in Rooms Division, Food & Beverage, guest service, teamleadership, and luxury resort standards.

The Assistant GeneralManager must be a culture carrier, service ambassador, operationalproblem-solver, and revenue-minded leader who understands that Renault Winery& Resort is not simply a hotel, restaurant, winery, golf property, orwedding venue — it is a destination where guests come to celebrate life,experience excellence, and feel Welcome Home.

This leader will helpensure that every guest touchpoint reflects the VIVÂMEE Hospitality mission,virtues, and standards of excellence.

Core Mission of the Role

The Assistant General Manager is responsible for helping lead the resort with excellence across the following areas:

  • Rooms Division operations
  • Front Office and Guest Services
  • Housekeeping and cleanliness standards
  • Food & Beverage operations
  • Restaurant service and culinary execution
  • Banquets, weddings, and event service support
  • Guest satisfaction and service recovery
  • Team leadership and accountability
  • Labor management and scheduling discipline
  • Revenue growth and expense control
  • Property presentation and luxury hospitality standards

The AGM must be able to move seamlessly between departments, support leaders, solve problems in real time, and elevate the overall guest and team member experience.


Responsibilities:

Leadership & Culture

  • Promote and embody the VIVÂMEE Virtues of Joy, Humility, and Ministry.
  • Know, understand, and adhere to all company policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Serve as a visible leader and ambassador for Renault Winery & Resort.

Operational Oversight

  • Oversee successful operations in the following departments: Front Desk, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Sales & Marketing, Banquet Operations, Weddings and Catering, Programming, Information Technology, Security, and Maintenance/Engineering.
  • Ensure established SOPs are consistently executed; create and refine SOPs as needed.
  • Act as Manager-on-Duty as required to support daily operations and special events.

Financial & Performance Management

  • Create, monitor, and manage hotel-wide and departmental budgets to ensure performance meets or exceeds targets.
  • Drive effective scheduling, forecasting, labor management, inventory controls, and expense management.
  • Identify creative promotions and revenue opportunities across the property.
  • Establish hotel rates and package offerings in collaboration with the GM and Sales & Marketing teams.
  • Prepare and authorize purchase orders supporting resort operations.

Food & Beverage & Catering Leadership

  • Oversee all food and beverage and catering operations in partnership with department leaders.
  • Support menu development, entertainment programming, and culinary experiences.
  • Book and schedule entertainment and track sales versus costs to ensure profitability.
  • Participate in BEO, group impact, and operational meetings.

Guest Experience & Community Engagement

  • Create and maintain strong relationships with guests, clients, investors, and VIPs.
  • Serve as a face of the property through proactive guest interaction and community involvement.
  • Enforce exceptional internal and external guest service standards while seeking cost efficiencies without sacrificing quality.

Team Leadership & Human Resources

  • Lead, mentor, and support department leaders and teammates.
  • Oversee recruitment, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, training, performance management, discipline, recognition, and termination processes.
  • Foster positive employee relations and a fun, engaging work environment aligned with VIVÂMEE Values.

Safety, Compliance & Facilities

  • Ensure compliance with health, sanitation, safety, security, labor laws, required certifications, and internal policies.
  • Coordinate with Facilities to ensure maintenance, cleanliness, and readiness across the resort.
  • Conduct regular property walkthroughs and risk assessments.

Sales, Marketing & Brand Support

  • Work closely with department leaders to develop and implement sales and marketing strategies, including menus, promotions, advertisements, entertainment, signage, e-blasts, and social media initiatives.
  • Coordinate third-party marketing resources as needed.

 Job Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business management preferred
  • Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in a 4‑star or upscale full‑service hotel or resort
  • Strong knowledge of hospitality operations, particularly food and beverage, catering, and hotel operations.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven financial management and budgeting expertise.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to attract, develop, and retain high-quality talent.
  • Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to service excellence.
