Position Overview

Renault Winery Resort is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Senior Director of Operations to lead and optimize day-to-day operations across the resort. This leadership role is responsible for driving operational excellence, enhancing the guest experience, maximizing profitability, and fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

The Senior Director of Operations will serve as a key member of the executive leadership team, partnering with department leaders to ensure seamless execution of strategic initiatives, operational standards, and business objectives while maintaining Renault’s reputation as a premier resort destination.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and oversight for resort operational departments.
  • Drive operational efficiency, service excellence, and guest satisfaction across the property.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop department leaders and management teams.
  • Manage budgets, forecasting, labor planning, and operational performance metrics.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and profitability.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and operational standards.
  • Partner with executive leadership to execute strategic initiatives and support business growth.
  • Monitor guest feedback and implement solutions that improve the overall guest experience.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 10+ years of progressive operations leadership experience in hospitality, resort, hotel, or destination properties.
  • 5+ years in a senior leadership role overseeing multiple operational departments.
  • Strong experience with budgeting, forecasting, labor management, and operational planning.
  • Proven success leading large teams and driving organizational performance.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in resorts, hotels, event venues, or mixed-use hospitality properties.
  • Strong background in multi-department operational leadership and guest experience management.
