We are excited to invite a skilled engineering professional to join our team in Palm Beach Gardens, FL. As a key player in the Power Generation Division, you will support the onboarding of new renewable generation and battery energy storage facilities, ensuring compliance with NERC standards. This role offers a dynamic work environment in a vibrant location, combining technical expertise with process improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Manage and review engineering and NERC compliance evidence for new renewable facilities.
• Ensure power system models align with equipment data, drawings, and commissioning results.
• Interpret electrical diagrams and design documentation.
• Verify model consistency and performance through testing and evidence review.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to resolve technical and documentation issues.
• Track technical evidence through various project phases.
• Develop process automation solutions to enhance efficiency and consistency.
• Create and maintain Power BI dashboards for project visibility.
• Utilize Maximo for integration of engineering and compliance activities.
• Provide engineering judgment on the sufficiency of submitted evidence.

Requirements

• Strong background in electrical and power systems engineering.
• Ability to review and interpret electrical drawings and specifications.
• Experience with PSSE, PSLF, and PSCAD models.
• Familiarity with NERC compliance and standards.
• Proficiency in Python, Power Automate, and Power BI.
• Experience with Maximo or similar asset management systems.

Preferences

• Experience in renewable energy projects.
• Knowledge of process automation and data reconciliation.
