$60,000-75,000 total compensation

Full-time position (Store hours: Monday-Friday 7:00 am-5:00 pm) Overtime as needed

Responsibilities

  • Assist with all rental needs and inquiries to include walk ins, phone calls, and emails.

  • Generate new customers leads, including occasional cold calling.

  • Open, close, and manage all rental contracts.

  • Maintain displays on the sales floor.

  • Operate within all rental policies and procedures of the company.

  • Prepare equipment which includes: washing, greasing, checking fluid levels, checking for proper operation, filling out documentation on computer and paperwork, doing minor repairs.

  • Load and unload equipment which includes: proper instructions on basic operation, checking for damage on returns, documentation on condition, loading and unloading on trucks and trailers.

  • Assist customers and helping with all departments of the store.

  • Sweep and clean which includes, helping with yard cleaning, yard organizing, cleaning wash bay when needed, trash disposal.

  • Always operate in and maintain a safe work environment; obey safety rules and wear required safety PPE.

Qualifications

  • Strong organizational and communication skills.

  • Excel in a high volume fast paced environment.

  • Creative problem solver.

  • Excellent customer relations skills.

  • Good computer and systems knowledge.

  • Must be able to pass a drug screen.

  • Valid Driver's License in good standing is preferred.

Physical Requirements

  • Occasionally lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling 50-100 pounds and/or frequently lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling 20-50 pounds and/or continuous lifting, carrying, pushing

  • Physically able to work outdoors in all weather conditions and around fumes & loud noise.

  • Physically able to operate construction equipment and forklifts.

  • Physically able to operate a variety of automated office machines including a computer, printer, facsimile machine, copy machine, calculator, telephone, etc. on a repetitive basis.

  • Regularly required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, grasp or pull and lift objects.

  • Occasionally required to sit, climb and balance, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, and lift.
