    Sugar Bowl Resort is seeking an energetic, guest-focused Rentals Lead to help lead the daily operations of our rental shop. In this role, you'll work closely with our Rental Shop Supervisor to keep the shop running smoothly, deliver top-notch service, and make sure every guest hits the mountain with the right gear and a great first impression of Sugar Bowl.

    Who You Are:

    • You've got at least one season of rental shop experience under your belt
    • Tech-savvy and comfortable working with RTP POS and Tech modules
    • Highly organized and know how to keep a busy shop running like clockwork
    • Communicate clearly and confidently with guests and teammates alike
    • You have a sharp eye for detail - nothing gets past you
    • A natural people-person who genuinely enjoys helping others

    What You'll do:

    • Ring up rentals and process transactions accurately and efficiently
    • Complete all rental forms with accuracy and attention to detail
    • Help guests find their perfect fit with properly fitted boots
    • Fine-tune skis and snowboards for each guest so they're ready for a great day on the mountain
    • Keep equipment moving throughout the resort with daily transport
    • Welcome guests back at the end of the day and help with equipment returns
    • Keep the rental shop clean, organized, and looking its best, with everything in its place
    • Assist in maintaining rental shop operations, cleanliness, and equipment readiness
    • Lend a hand with crowd flow during our busiest moments
    • Share your Sugar Bowl knowledge and answer guest questions with a smile
    • Pitch in with snow removal before, during, and after storms to keep things safe and accessible
    • Help oversee rental techs breaks
    • Take ownership of our core values at work, and know and understand our policies and procedures- holding fellow employees accountable to them
    • Help maintain the inventory of Rental gear

    Physical Requirements:

    • Ability to stand, bend, and move around the workshop for extended periods, up to 8 hours per shift
    • Capable of regularly lifting and carrying equipment up to 50 lbs
    • Ability to safely operate power tools and tuning machinery
    • Comfortable working outdoors in cold, winter weather conditions for extended periods
    • Manual dexterity for precise equipment repair and tuning work
    • Able to walk and stand safely on varied terrain, including snow and ice
    • Willing and able to shovel snow as needed
