Repair and Maintenance Mechanic

We're hiring a full-time Repair and Maintenance Mechanic to support us in our mission by keeping our mechanical equipment and vehicles in excellent running condition and preventing major breakdowns. When you join our Ponder, TX team, you'll earn $60,000 - $65,000 per year and enjoy terrific benefits like:

THE INS AND OUTS OF BECOMING OUR REPAIR AND MAINTENANCE MECHANIC

THE SCHEDULE:

You'll usually work Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm with some nights and weekends as needed.

YOUR ROLE:

• Repairing and maintaining light, medium, and heavy-duty equipment, trucks, and vehicles at the shop and on construction sites
• Accurately diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical issues
• Removing old parts and installing new ones
• Welding, fabricating, and rebuilding parts/frames
• Loading and unloading deliveries using forklifts and skid-steers
• Helping keep projects on track and our equipment running flawlessly

OUR REQUIREMENTS:

• 18+ years old
• 3+ years of experience in light, medium, and/or heavy equipment/truck maintenance and repair
• Engine maintenance experience (fluid changes and filter replacements)
• Ability to regularly lift 80 lbs. as well as walk and stand for most of the day
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Valid CDL
• Experience working on gas and diesel vehicles
• Some trade school (diesel tech, auto tech, or apprentice program)
