We are seeking a skilled Gas Turbine Repair Engineer to join our growing team in North Houston, TX (onsite). This role is a key part of the engineering group responsible for developing, optimizing, and implementing advanced repair processes for aeroderivative gas turbine components.

This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer with turbine repair expertise to work in a hands-on environment, driving innovation and ensuring high-quality, cost-effective repair solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement safe, high-quality, and reliable repair processes for aeroderivative turbine components.
  • Introduce and refine new repair methods, ensuring scalability and efficiency in the repair shop.
  • Manage quality, cost, and delivery targets across multiple repair scopes.
  • Troubleshoot work-in-progress quality issues and resolve them effectively.
  • Define, design, and support fabrication of repair equipment and tooling.
  • Continuously optimize and improve inspection, welding, brazing, coating, and machining processes.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience in aeroderivative gas turbine component repair.
  • Strong ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).
  • Experience with Aeroderivative turbines

Desired Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience developing and applying turbine repair processes OR significant experience with alloys, coating systems, and thermal/mechanical fatigue issues.
  • Hands-on experience with LM6000, PE6000, or LM2500 gas turbine models-required.
  • Knowledge of SolidWorks or other CAD applications.
  • Strong problem-solving, research, and technical reporting skills.
