Repair  Maintenance Technician – Direct Hire Opportunity
Ludlow, Vermont
Our client is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to support production equipment operations within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is a full-time opportunity with strong long-term potential and a company that is currently considering direct hire candidates from the start.
Schedule:
Monday – Thursday | 4:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Additional Friday hours may be required for projects and preventive maintenance tasks.
Pay:
$31.46 – $34.77/hour depending on experience
Position Overview:
This role is ideal for a skilled maintenance professional with strong experience supporting manufacturing or production line equipment. The technician will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot electrical and automation systems, repair machinery, and help improve operational efficiency across the facility.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform preventive maintenance on manufacturing and production equipment
• Troubleshoot and repair automation systems, control circuits, and electrical components
• Diagnose issues involving PLCs, HMIs, motors, wiring, pneumatics, and power systems
• Install and maintain electrical control systems and solid-state equipment
• Analyze machine data to identify performance issues and necessary adjustments
• Support equipment upgrades and operational improvements
• Work with mills, lathes, grinders, MIG, and TIG equipment as needed
• Maintain automation equipment to operational and safety standards
• Repair electrical and pneumatic systems throughout the facility
Qualifications:
• 5+ years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience required
• Experience troubleshooting up to 480V 3-phase equipment
• Familiarity with PLCs, HMIs, and frequency drives
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
• Experience using power tools, meters, and diagnostic equipment
• Knowledge of RO and DI water systems preferred
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
• Manufacturing or production line maintenance experience strongly preferred
