HEICO Component Repair Group is currently seeking an Administrative Assistant for our Repair Management Department. The Administrative Assistant will provide administrative and clerical support.  This role will focus on preparing documentation for component exchanges, coordinating paperwork for units sent to outside service providers, researching vendor capabilities, obtaining quotes and maintaining accurate records.  The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail, organizational skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. 


Key Responsibilities



  • Prepare and process documents for component exchanges in compliance with company and FAA standards.

  • Create, review and send paperwork for units being shipped to outside service providers for repair or overhaul.

  • Research and document the capabilities, certifications, and services of potential and existing outside repair vendors.

  • Track and update the status of repair orders, exchanges and shipments.

  • Maintain organized filing systems for repair-related records.

  • Assist in generating and updating reports.

  • Communicating with vendors and internal departments to coordinate repair-related activities

  • Support general office tasks such as data entry, copying and correspondence.



Skills and Education Experience



  • High School or GED required

  • Previous administrative or clerical experience (Aviation or MRO industry preferred)

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

  • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills

  • Detail oriented with a high level of accuracy in data entry and document review and preparation

  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment

  • Familiarity with FAA regulations and repair processes preferred


Physical Requirements



  • Ability to remain stationary for extended periods of time

  • Frequent use of hands and fingers for typing, filing, and operating office equipment

  • Occasional standing, walking, bending, and reaching to retrieve files or office materials

  • Ability to lift up to 10lbs.

  • Visual ability to read documents, computer screens, and detailed reports
