Butler Machinery Company is looking for a Repair Options Analyst to support our Service Operations team. In this role, you'll develop and maintain repair standards and flat rate structures that help drive consistency, accuracy, and efficiency across our organization.

What You'll Do:

As a Repair Options Analyst, you will play a key role in ensuring accurate and standardized repair options are available to field locations. Responsibilities include:

  • Maintain and continuously improve repair standards and flat rate systems to align with current parts pricing and service expectations
  • Review and prioritize updates to existing standards to ensure pricing accuracy for long-term contracts
  • Build and implement standard jobs for new equipment based on weekly new machine reports
  • Monitor and respond to store requests related to standard jobs and flat rate updates
  • Analyze labor flat rates and adjust based on service data and operational feedback
  • Maintain and update RBOMs and service letter standard jobs
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with service, parts, and technical teams to ensure alignment and accuracy
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, standardization, and efficiency across service operations
  • Escalate system or data issues as needed to ensure timely resolution

What We're Looking For:

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
  • 2+ years of equipment knowledge and/or service operations experience
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related systems

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience in service shop operations or similar field
  • Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with construction or agricultural equipment
  • Experience quoting or estimating service-related work
