    Job Summary

    The Parts Counterperson is responsible for managing inventory and processing orders for construction equipment, trucks, plant parts, fuels, and lubricants. The role supports maintenance operations by maintaining inventory accuracy, ordering parts, tracking warranties, processing purchase orders, and supplying parts to technicians while ensuring an organized and efficient work environment.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Perform inventory audits and daily cycle counts.
    • Monitor inventory levels and review inventory reports.
    • Order parts from approved vendors based on requisition requests.
    • Provide parts and inventory support to maintenance technicians.
    • Process purchase orders and maintain inventory records.
    • Track warranties for equipment and parts.
    • Maintain accurate inventory control and documentation.
    • Promote a clean, organized, and efficient work environment.
    • Support departmental operations and foster a positive team environment.

    Required Qualifications

    • 1–3 years of experience in parts and inventory control.
    • Knowledge of inventory management in a maintenance or repair environment.
    • Experience with heavy equipment and trucks is preferred.
    • Experience using online purchasing and inventory tracking systems.
    • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
    • Strong organizational and attention-to-detail skills.
