Job Title: Repair Shop Technician I

Location: Union city

Pay Rate: $25.62 per hour
Schedule:

• Monday–Thursday: 10‑hour shifts
• Hours: 5:30 AM – 3:30 PM
• Overtime: Every other Friday

Position Summary

The Repair Shop Technician I is responsible for performing basic to intermediate repair, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance on equipment and components in a shop environment. This role supports production and operations by ensuring equipment is serviced, functional, and returned to service in a timely and quality‑focused manner.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and test mechanical or electromechanical components and assemblies
• Perform preventive maintenance and routine inspections on equipment
• Disassemble, inspect, clean, repair, and reassemble parts as required
• Use hand tools, power tools, test equipment, and measuring devices accurately
• Document repairs, inspections, and parts used according to standard procedures
• Follow all safety policies, work instructions, and quality standards
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Communicate issues, delays, or quality concerns to supervisors or team leads

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Previous repair, maintenance, or technical shop experience preferred
• Ability to read work instructions, drawings, or manuals
• Basic mechanical and troubleshooting skills
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Willingness to work overtime every other Friday as scheduled
