Position: Electrical Assembler Soldering Experience Required
City: Fontana, CA
Pay Rate: $20.26-$20.50/hr
Shift: 1st Shift MondayFriday, 5:00am1:30pm (Overtime may be required)
Type: Temp-to-Hire
Job Summary:
The Soldering & Electronic Assembly Technician is responsible for supporting the assembly, testing, and basic troubleshooting of electronic components. This role is ideal for candidates with hands-on soldering experience who are looking to grow their technical skills in electronics repair and diagnostics. Training and support will be provided for more advanced tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform soldering and de-soldering (surface mount and thru-hole components)
- Assist with assembly and rework of electronic components and devices
- Conduct basic testing and identify faulty components
- Support troubleshooting processes using standard tools and instructions
- Follow work instructions, diagrams, and basic schematics
- Maintain production efficiency and meet daily goals
- Handle components following ESD safety standards
- Keep workstations clean, organized, and safe
- Accurately enter production and repair data into systems
Qualifications:
- 1+ years of soldering or electronic assembly experience preferred
- Familiarity with hand tools and basic testing equipment (multimeter a plus)
- Ability to read basic diagrams or work instructions (schematic reading is a plus, not required)
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Willingness to learn and grow in electronic repair skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Basic computer skills for data entry
