Job Description

TMD Staffing is hiring an experienced Repair Technician for a growing electronics manufacturing company in the Rio Grande Valley. This position performs PCBA repair and rework from SMT and post-test failures, including RMA and Engineering support.

Responsibilities

• Perform soldering and de-soldering of SMT and through-hole components.
• Repair and rework PCBA/electronic assemblies.
• Read BOMs, MPNs, assembly drawings, and controlled documentation.
• Follow IPC standards and quality requirements.
• Troubleshoot electronic assembly issues and meet production benchmarks.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED.
• 1+ year PCBA/electronics manufacturing experience required.
• Strong soldering and rework skills.
• IPC knowledge required.
• English required; bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
• Must pass drug screen and background check.
• Must meet FTZ security requirements.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. — U.S. citizenship or permanent residency required.
