JOB SUMMARY:

The Guest Experience Ticket Booth Representative serves as a key front-line ambassador for the Dallas Arboretum & Botanical Garden. This role is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service byassisting guests in person and over the phone, supporting ticket sales, and ensuring a welcoming, informative, and seamless entry experience. The ideal candidate is professional, friendly, and committed to upholding Arboretum standards and policies while creating memorable guest interactions.

This is a Seasonal position that requires the availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and/or seasonal evening events.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO :

• Provide warm, courteous, and professional service to all guests in person and via phone

• Assist guests with ticket purchases, reservations, and general inquiries

• Accurately process transactions using ticketing and POS systems

• Share general information about the gardens, events, programs, and amenities

• Monitor and support guest flow at the ticket booth to ensure an efficient experience

• Uphold and respectfully enforce Dallas Arboretum policies and procedures

• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment

• Collaborate with team members and other departments to enhance the overall guest experience

Perform additional duties as assigned to support operations

Requirements

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or GED

• Previous customer service, hospitality, or retail experience strongly preferred

• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills

• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

• Comfortable using computers and standard software (Microsoft Office and ticketing systems)

• Demonstrates professionalism, reliability, and a positive attitude

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

PHYSICAL AND SCHEDULING REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods

• Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions

• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and seasonal evening events

• Ability to pass all pre-employment requirements, including background check and drug screening
