Job Description:

Greets patients using outstanding customer service skills. Registers patients using Advent Health procedures and adhering to PFS standards. Assists physician's offices and patients by locating exams and reports, faxing reports, signing out films, and handling memos. Researches scripts, previous forms, insurance cards, orders, changes, and cancels exams using scheduling computer program. Completes registrations in a timely manner, follows through on all registration screens, and scans all paperwork into the system. Keeps waiting room and workspace clean and in order, uses office equipment with care, and monitors supplies to request before running out. Maintains knowledge and understanding of process improvement plans, participates in recording or storing data for process improvement initiatives, and actively looks for ways to improve department processes. Attends department meetings consistently, promotes positive dialogue with respect to department objectives, and is responsible for understanding all agenda items. Answers phone using scripted greeting and lets coordinator and nurses know when patients are ready. Assists coworkers as needed to ensure smooth operation of the department.
