This role is built for a hunter who thrives on outbound prospecting, closing deals, and driving revenue across industrial, academic, government, pharmaceutical, and biotech customers. Youll position a broad product portfolio, uncover opportunities, and convert them into long-term, profitable relationships. Effectively articulate Cole-Parmers value propositions and support a One-Antylia culture in every internal and external interaction while working collaboratively across our organization. **Key Responsibilities:** - Achieve and exceed aggressive monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets. - Prospect relentlessly through phone, email, and digital channels to generate new business opportunities. - Understand and execute the complete territory management process, including identifying gap opportunities and developing strategies to win back business. - Grow existing accounts by identifying new opportunities and expanding share of wallet. - Build relationships with decision-makers across Purchasing, Engineering, Laboratory, Maintenance, and Quality departments. - Identify and qualify new opportunities to expand business and maintain a healthy sales pipeline. - Manage the full sales cycle including investigation, qualification, proposal/quote development, follow-up, and closing activities. - Execute pricing and quoting strategies to maximize revenue and profitability. - Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver a seamless customer experience. - Maintain accurate pipeline, activity, and performance tracking within CRM systems. - Stay current on market trends, competitive activity, and product knowledge. - Effectively communicate Cole-Parmers value proposition to customers and prospects. - Support a One-Antylia culture through collaboration and partnership across the organization. - Perform other duties as assigned. **Education:** - Bachelors Degree in a science related field ** from an accredited higher learning institution strongly preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience. **Experience** - Minimum 3-5 years of inside sales, technical sales, or territory management experience with a proven track record of exceeding quota. **Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:** - Strong hunter mentality with the ability to prospect, develop, and close new business opportunities. - Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. - Business and technical acumen to understand customer needs and position effective solutions. - Results-oriented and self-motivated with strong organizational and time management skills. - Ability to manage multiple opportunities and priorities in a fast-paced environment. - Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications, including Excel. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Customer-focused mindset with the ability to build long-term business relationships. - Thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, efficiently works under pressures, within deadlines or other time essential constraints. - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to clearly and concisely communicate to all levels of the organization. - Strong work ethic and an ability to excel within a rapidly changing and growing organization. - Ability to travel for training and team meetings up to 10%. **This position has not been approved for Relocation Assistance.** *The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and le el of the work being performed by people assigned to this job.
