Riggs Community Health Center is seeking an experienced, self-motivated, efficient, and professional Unit Manager to join our clinical management team. We provide a growing variety of services to the community in a small outpatient clinic setting. Unit Managers are at the forefront of implementation of our mission strategy. Duties:

• Assist with implementation and communication of department strategy as designated by unit manger, under the direction of senior leadership.
• Assists in monitoring and analyzing patient appointment schedules and patient care operations to ensure smooth workflows.
• Assists in monitoring the appointment schedule to ensure the schedule reflects the ability to provide patient care services in a timely manner.
• Maintain employee work schedules including assignments, job rotation, training, vacations and paid time off (ADP functions)
• Facilitate staff training as directed by unit manager, and maintain up to date skills checklist for employees within the department.
• Provide leadership and direction to unit staff
• Development of a company culture that emphasizes quality, continuous improvement, key employee retention and development, and high performance.
• Foster a spirit of teamwork and unity among department members that allows for disagreement over ideas, conflict and expeditious conflict resolution, and the appreciation of diversity as well as cohesiveness, support, and working effectively together to enable each employee and the department to succeed.

• Maintain transparent communication. Appropriately communicate organization information through department meetings, one-on-one meetings, email, ADP, and regular interpersonal communication.

Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm & 9:00am - 6:00pm on rotation with co-managers

Limited Saturdays on rotation (w/ opportunity to take weekday off on your Saturday week)
