Req 18681 Warehouse Associate (Warehouse Operative) - 2nd Shift

Our client in the food processing field is looking for hardworking, motivated talent to join their team.  As a Warehouse Associate, you will work with the team to ensure products get where they need to be, unload delivery vehicles, receive inventory, store product, and select and pack customer orders. Job Title:  Warehouse Associate/Stand Up Lift Operator

Location:  Rome, GA.

Pay Rate:  $21

Shift:  6pm to 6am, two days on two days off
 

Job Summary:
Works collaboratively to store raw materials and finished goods, organize orders, and ensure items are packed and dispatched in a timely manner, supporting efficient and effective shipping and receiving processes.

Responsibilities:

1. Adhere to all safety policies and procedures while maintaining a hazard-free work area Prepare and complete warehouse orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule.
2. Prepare pallets according to prescribed work standards, stacking and tagging.
3. Maintain shipping supplies to ensure order ships on schedule.
4. Receive and process warehouse stock utilizing a stand up forklift to facilitate the process.
5.  Maintain inventory control, ensuring accuracy in item count and location.
6. Timely inform supervisor of all inventory issues, supply shortages, shipping issues, and other concerns.
7. Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Perform other duties as assigned.

• Positive, can-do attitude
• 1 year of recent experience with forklift (stand-up forklift lift) is required.
• High School Diploma
