Position Overview
Provide support to The United States Coast Guard (USCG), CG-AIR’s (to include the Aviation Logistics Center (ALC), Aviation Projects Acquisition Center (APAC), and Office of Aeronautical Engineering (CG-AIR-E)) 
 
Essential Job Function
  • Independently manage analysis, development, and implementation of requirements for various CG-AIR divisions
  • Collaborate with CG-AIR personnel and other commands to identify requirements
  • Conduct market research and plan projects
  • Prepare requisition packages including SOW, Performance Work Statements, and other acquisition documents
  • Confirm requisition packages comply with regulations, policies, and audit requirements
  • Track action items; update customers on project status; manage acquisition information
  • Review deliverables for technical accuracy
  • Manage multiple tasks simultaneously; create schedules and develop plans and milestones
  • Draft correspondence, reports, white papers, meeting minutes, spreadsheets, and briefs
  • Develop methods, plans, and documents to streamline procedures, reduce costs, and support long-term planning 
Minimum Qualifications
  • U.S. Citizen
  • Read, write, speak, and comprehend English
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of basic arithmetic
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks with competing deadlines
  • Ability to work with minimal Government oversight
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Logistics, Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Project Management, or related field; OR
  • High school diploma with at least 3 years' experience in Procurement, Logistics, Program Management, Supply Chain Management, Legal, or related field
 
Desired Qualifications
 
  • Intermediate experience with ALMIS
  • Intermediate experience with AMMIS
  • 1 year experience in USCG procedures
  • Proficiency in ALMIS
  • Proficiency in AMMIS
