Title: Research and Development Associate II Location: Cambridge, MA Duration: 12 Months+ Possible Extension Job Description We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Associate Scientist to join the BioDesign team. This role will contribute to the design, optimization, and development of therapeutic proteins aimed at improving the lives of patients with immunological, neurodegenerative, and muscular diseases. This role is hands-on and lab-focused, contributing directly to antibody and protein production workflows. What You’ll Do Produce antibodies and other recombinant proteins using transient expression and stable cell pool approaches Prepare plasmid DNA Perform plate-based characterization assays (e.g., ELISA, MSD) to assess expression and binding Prepare and analyze samples for flow cytometry–based binding or expression assessments Document experiments, results, and protocols in accordance with internal standards Who You Are You are passionate about science and enProduct working collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
