Your role As a Research and Development Team Leader, you will be at the forefront of advancing Atlas Copco's engineering and product offerings through design, hands-on leadership, and cross-functional collaboration. In this role, you will lead a small team of engineers by fostering a culture of creativity, teamwork, and continuous improvement while ensuring successful product development. You will report to the R&D Manager. You will Lead and inspire a team of engineers and designers, fostering creativity and problem-solving Manage product development projects, including budgets, schedules, and resources to meet cost and timing targets Develop innovative solutions for compressors and related systems Ensure all designs meet industry standards, customer requirements, and quality requirements Analyze technical challenges and support resolution of production and field issues Propose and initiate new projects and contribute to future product strategies To succeed, you will need You have 5+ years of experience working as a Mechanical Engineer or in a related engineering leadership role Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop engineering teams Strong project management skills, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation in a cross-functional team environment Strong mechanical design expertise, ideally in turbomachinery, rotating equipment, or compressors Experience with 3D CAD Software, GD&T, ISO Practices, and Data Management and Product Life Cycle Management systems is beneficial We encourage you to apply even if you don"t meet every single requirement.
