Contact Research and Verification Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented Contact Research and Verification Specialist to support business initiatives by identifying and validating accurate contact information for individuals and organizations. This role is ideal for someone with strong research skills, persistence, and comfort with high-volume outbound communication.

Key Responsibilities
Research & Data Verification (60%)
  • Conduct structured research using publicly available sources, including business directories, corporate records, and online platforms
  • Identify and verify accurate contact details for assigned individuals or organizations
  • Cross-check multiple sources to ensure data accuracy and completeness
  • Document research steps and findings in a clear, consistent format

Outbound Communication (30%)
  • Make outbound calls (60–80 per day) to confirm and update contact information
  • Communicate professionally with administrative contacts and representatives
  • Build rapport while clearly stating the purpose of outreach
  • Follow up as needed to confirm details

Data Management & Reporting (10%)
  • Maintain accurate records of research and outreach activities
  • Update internal systems with verified information
  • Track progress and completion of assigned tasks
  • Provide summary updates as needed

Required Qualifications
  • Strong research and problem-solving skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Comfortable with frequent phone-based communication
  • Organized and able to manage multiple assignments simultaneously
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
  • Basic to intermediate Microsoft Excel skills

Preferred Experience
  • Experience in research, data verification, or administrative support roles
  • Familiarity with business directories or research tools
  • Background in roles involving outreach, customer interaction, or information gathering
  • General understanding of business structures is a plus

  • Volume of completed research assignments
  • Accuracy of verified contact information
  • Timeliness of task completion
  • Effectiveness of outreach efforts


Compensation
- Up to $30.00 per hour (W2), based on experience

All research and outreach activities are conducted using publicly available information and in compliance with applicable data privacy and communication regulations.
