Job Summary
The CASCADE lab (Collaborative Advancements in Science: Cancer, Disparities, and the Environment), led by Drs. Leigh Pearce and Alison Mondul in the Dept. of Epidemiology and Center for Midlife Science at the University of Michigan School of Public Health, seeks a research staff team member who will be an integral member of our research group working on a variety of projects including multiple field studies. We are currently recruiting into MI-CARES (Michigan Cancer and Research on the Environment Study) and MI-SOCIAL (Michigan Surviving Ovarian Cancer -- Innovation, Advancement and Living Well), among other cancer studies. MI-CARES is a general population cohort study of environmental factors and a range of outcomes which will ultimately include at least 100,000 18--49-year-old Asian, Black, Latin, Middle Eastern and North African, Native American, and White participants living in Michigan. SOCIAL is focused on the survivorship experiences of people living with ovarian cancer. This research team member will lead one or more research projects, overseeing project staff, managing day-to-day details of study management, monitor study progress and contribute to writing study reports and publications.
Note: This is a one-year term limited position. There is the possibility of renewal based on availability of funds and favorable performance.
