Position Summary
The Hume and Mansfield Labs study DNA damage and cancer, and the links between the gut and chronic disease. The position starts in Summer 2026 and may be renewed for a second year, based on funding availability. The Research Assistant will contribute to data collection, processing, visualization, analysis, interpretation, and dissemination of results. The position will also include other experimental and research support.
Minimum Requirements
Knowledge equivalent to that which normally would be acquired by completing a four-year college degree program in Biomedical Science or other related science fields; one to three years of related and progressively more responsible or expansive work experience in standard laboratory procedures and safety requirements and performing analytical and research techniques in an area related to research being performed; Will require Basic computer skills (MS Office, Email, WWW searches and data analysis programs; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
