Position Summary

The Institute for Private Capital (IPC) at the University of North Carolina's Kenan-Flagler Business School (uncipc.com) is hiring a temporary Research Assistant to support its research on private equity, venture capital, private credit, real assets, and other private markets. The Research Assistant will work about 20-25 hours per week with IPC researchers and affiliated faculty. Duties include gathering, cleaning, merging, and managing large private market datasets; building and running econometric analyses; and producing clear tables, figures, and summaries for academic and industry research.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements

Bachelor's degree in a discipline related to the area of assignment; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.

The ideal candidate pays close attention to detail, works well on their own, communicates clearly, and wants to contribute to rigorous research that informs investors, policymakers, or the academic community.
