To support research projects in the Yang Lab focused on lipid nanoparticle delivery systems, organ-on-a-chip/microfluidic models, and advanced in vitro platforms for evaluating nutrient, bioactive compound, and nucleic acid delivery. The position will assist with experimental design, formulation preparation, cell culture, biological assays, imaging, data analysis, and general laboratory operations.

Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree
• Education beyond the minimum degree requirement may count toward required experience if deemed relevant by the hiring manager. The degree requirement ensures candidates possess the advanced theoretical knowledge, highly specialized methodologies, and critical problem-solving skills fundamental to this work. These competencies are typically developed and rigorously validated only through the comprehensive curriculum and intensive experiential experience inherent in a formal degree program.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Master’s degree or higher in food science, biomedical engineering, chemical engineering, biology, biochemistry, pharmaceutical sciences, materials science, or a closely related field.
• Experience with one or more of the following areas is preferred: Lipid nanoparticles, liposomes, polymeric nanoparticles, or nucleic acid delivery systems
