Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Research Assistant to support an active clinical research team during a 15-week contract assignment. This position assists with the day-to-day coordination of clinical studies, participant interactions, data collection, and regulatory documentation while ensuring compliance with study protocols and research guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Assist with participant recruitment, scheduling, and follow-up.
- Support the informed consent process and maintain participant records.
- Collect, enter, and verify research data for accuracy and completeness.
- Prepare and maintain study files and regulatory documentation.
- Coordinate study visits and assist with clinical procedures as needed.
- Process laboratory specimens and maintain study supplies.
- Ensure compliance with study protocols, Good Clinical Practice (GCP), and regulatory requirements.
- Communicate with investigators, research staff, sponsors, and participants.
- Assist with data entry, report preparation, and study closeout activities.
Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a health science, biology, nursing, or related field preferred.
- Previous experience in clinical research or a healthcare setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines is a plus.
- Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic medical records (EMR) systems preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative research team.
