Job Summary

The Research Assistant will support a project to study giant planet dynamics.

Essential Job Duties

• Run simulations of resonance capture and calculate associated transit timing variations.
• Participate in regular meetings to discuss research progress and ultimately write up results.
• Other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledgeable in introductory gravitational dynamics.
• Experience using Python, Matplotlib, and supercomputers.
